Bathroom Remodels in Cookeville, TN.
From a fresh vanity to a full down-to-the-studs rebuild
Bathroom remodels are one of the things we do most around Cookeville. They run from a simple swap-out — new vanity, fixtures, paint, fan, done in a week — all the way to a full tear-out where we strip the room to the studs and rebuild it tile by tile. Every bathroom job starts with a walk-through where we talk through what you actually use the room for, what's bugging you about it now, and where you want it to land. Then we put real numbers on paper and you decide.
The scope, line by line.
- Demo and haul-off of old fixtures, tile, drywall, and flooring
- Plumbing rough-in updates (relocating drains, adding shut-offs, replacing supply lines)
- Electrical updates — new GFCI outlets, vanity lighting, exhaust fan with timer
- Cement board and waterproofing membrane on wet walls and shower floors
- Tile install (subway, herringbone, hex, marble panel surrounds, mosaic)
- Shower pan install (mud-set or pre-formed)
- Vanity, sink, faucet, toilet, and accessory install
- Drywall patching, taping, mudding, sanding, and priming
- Paint — walls, trim, ceiling, doors
- Caulk, grout sealing, and final punch-list
- Daily site cleanup; final deep clean before walk-through
- Stand-behind warranty on workmanship

Answers people ask us most.
- How long does a typical bathroom remodel take?
- Depends on scope. A vanity-and-paint refresh can be done in 3–5 working days. A full tile shower with new plumbing usually runs 2–3 weeks because tile and grout need cure time between steps. A down-to-the-studs primary bath with relocated plumbing is more like 4–5 weeks. We give you a real schedule with the quote, not a guess.
- Do you do the work yourself or use subcontractors?
- I run every job and I'm on site for the carpentry, tile, drywall, paint, and trim work. For licensed plumbing and electrical that needs permits, I bring in vetted partners I've worked with for years — but the schedule, communication, and quality control stay with me.
- What's your warranty on the work?
- Workmanship is warrantied for one year from completion. If something we built or installed isn't right — a tile pops, a fixture leaks, a fan stops working — we come back and fix it on our dime. Fixture and material warranties are whatever the manufacturer offers.
- Do I need to be home during the project?
- Day one yes, so we can walk the job together and confirm everything matches the quote. After that, no — most clients give us a key or a code and we send daily updates by text. End of each day the bathroom door is closed, the path in and out is clean, and you know where things stand.
- How do you handle materials — do you supply, or do I?
- Either works. Most clients want us to supply the bulk plumbing, tile, fasteners, and drywall, and they pick the finishes — vanity, faucet, lights, hardware — so it feels like their bathroom. We'll send links or a shopping list so you can pick at your own pace, and we'll flag anything that's going to delay the job.
- What if the scope changes during the job?
- Happens on almost every remodel. Old plumbing turns out to be in worse shape than expected, you decide you want to upgrade the lighting, whatever. We document the change, price it, you sign off in writing, and we keep moving. No surprises on the final invoice.
